San Juan Hills took down Aliso Niguel 46-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jacob Gibson threw for 301 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 26 yards in the win.
Capistrano Valley and Laguna Hills played the most contested game in Sea View this week, with Capistrano Valley eventually emerging with a 23-17 victory. Jeremy Dix during the win.
The Stallions' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Brad Kremer contributed 65 yards. Kolton McCluskey helped San Juan Hills' passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 91 yards.
He was 14-16 with 0 interceptions.
Kremer was the best running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 65 yards as San Juan Hills beat the Wolverines. Teammate Mike Miscione added to the ground attack by rushing for 43 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Gibson and Kremer, Aaron Flowers' team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Gibson leads the league in passing with 1,610 yards, while Kremer has rushed for 652 yards this season. Dana Hills's Sean Schulte leads the league in receiving yards with 612 on 32 catches.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place San Juan Hills takes on second place Capistrano Valley. The Stallions beat Aliso Niguel last week, while the Cougars topped the Hawks.
Capistrano Valley made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,815 from 3,160. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 23-17 victory over Laguna Hills last week.
