Upper Merion Area was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in Suburban One - American. Earlier in the week, the Vikings defeated Olney 32-20.
Plymouth Whitemarsh scaled the state rankings by moving to 170 from 246 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Colonials were able to make move up by defeating Downingtown West 36-34.
Plymouth Whitemarsh's dynamic duo of Connor Hanlon and James Rodgers proved tough for the Whippets to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hanlon threw for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns and Rodgers had 116 yards receiving. Jose Vega helped Plymouth Whitemarsh's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 65 yards.
Dan Chang's team's dynamic duo of Hanlon and Rodgers proved to be unstoppable against Downingtown West, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Jequan Mitchell was the best running back in the league this week. In 33 carries, he ran for 299 yards as Upper Merion Area bested Mike Milano's team. Teammate Isaiah Aleciea added to the ground attack by rushing for 38 yards.
Rodgers was the best receiver in Suburban One - American this week as Plymouth Whitemarsh bested the Whippets.
Hanlon put up the best numbers through the air as the Colonials beat Downingtown West.
Mitchell was a beast in the backfield as Harold Smith's team topped the Trojans.
Mitchell provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Vikings topped Olney. Mitchell's key target this week was Evon Dixon, who caught 2 passes for 26 yards.
Plymouth Whitemarsh's Hanlon and Rodgers have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hanlon has thrown for 470 yards this season, while Rodgers has 17 catches for 326 yards. Mitchell from Upper Merion Area leads the league in rushing with 571 yards.
