On Friday Comanche take on Walters at 7:30 PM. Comanche aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
Their game three weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Comanche, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Healdton 49-0.
The crowd came for a game, and Walters and Mangum sure delivered. It was a match that couldn't have wound up any closer, but Walters snuck past Mangum for the 15-14 victory. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Their wins bumped Comanche to 1-1 and Walters to 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Comanche and Walters clash.
