Questa is 8-2 against McCurdy since August of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Questa sitting on three straight wins and McCurdy on four.
On Tuesday, Questa sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Mesa Vista.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Questa who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 25-27, 15-11.

Questa relied on the efforts of Ariana Medina, who had 20 digs and six aces, and Jocelyne Ortega, who had 24 digs. That's the most digs Medina has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshlyn Medina, who had ten digs and three aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Questa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, McCurdy was able to grind out a solid win over Mora on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.
The victory didn't come easy: Mora scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 26-24, 25-21.
Questa's record now sits at 13-3. As for McCurdy, their record is now 12-3.
Questa came up short against McCurdy when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
