Deckerville made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 574 from 650. The improvement came about via a 50-0 victory over North Huron last week.
The Warriors' dynamic duo of Kyle Case and Michael Strozeski proved tough for the Eagles to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Case threw for 58 yards and Strozeski had 38 yards receiving. Dustin Siemen helped North Huron's passing attack out by catching one ball for 14 yards.
Christopher Wolfe was the most productive running back in North Central Thumb - South (8 Man) this week. He ran for 228 yards on 22 carries as Deckerville fell to Deckerville. Teammate Nick Pagel added to the ground attack by rushing for 165 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Case and Brandon Moore the Warriors have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Case leads the league in passing with 836 yards, while Moore has rushed for 1937 yards this season. Caseville's Chase Louwers leads the league in receiving yards with 395 on 20 catches.
The Eagles led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on North Huron. Wolfe in the win.
