Clay-Battelle won the last time they faced Valley, and Preston Luzader did his part to make sure it happened again. The Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees blew past the Valley Lumberjacks 74-48 on Tuesday thanks in part to Luzader, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 14 boards. His evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points.

Braden Ponceroff was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. He also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Clay-Battelle is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 5-6 otherwise.

Clay-Battelle pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Clay-Battelle has already played their next match, a 70-45 victory against Notre Dame on the 19th. As for Valley, they will take on Tyler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
