With a playoff game on the line, the Pueblo Warriors rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1. Three seems to be a good number for Pueblo as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jesus Villasenor and
Diego Resendiz, who scored all three of Pueblo's goals. The pair have combined for a total of ten so far this season.
Pueblo's win bumped their record up to 6-10-1. As for Arcadia, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6-2.
Pueblo will head out on the road to face off against Flagstaff at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flagstaff will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Pueblo surely won't give up without a fight. Arcadia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
