Valders was the 3-0 winner over Brillion when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Friday. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Megan Hochkammer paced Valders' offense, picking up seven kills. Hochkammer got some help from Audrey Wagner and her ten assists. Finally, Hochkammer was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Valders' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Brillion, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Valders didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hilbert on the 29th. As for Brillion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against New Holstein on the 29th.
