Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only S & S Consolidated walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Hooks Hornets on Friday as they made off with a 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 16 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

S & S Consolidated's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Hooks, they moved to 26-9-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

S & S Consolidated will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
