The victory will ease some of the sting of the Honea Path school's close 55-51 loss to the Bobcats last season.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Bears, which was coming off a 29-3 defeat at the hands of Daniel in its previous game.
Belton-Honea Path (6-2) goes up against Wren in a AAA Region I game matchup next week, while Seneca (3-5) locks horns with West-Oak also in a AAA Region I game.
