St. Charles West will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Hillsboro at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against St. Charles West, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
St. Charles West might have drawn first blood against St. Dominic last Friday, but it was St. Dominic who got the last laugh. St. Charles West took a 14-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Dominic.
Hillsboro had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Sullivan last week 30-17.
Hillsboro's win lifted them to 1-0 while St. Charles West's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Hillsboro can add another positive mark to their record or if St. Charles West can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Hillsboro's step.
