Anthony Singer was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Shady Fritch was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Gavin Palladino was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over Cardinal Stritch on Thursday.
The team relied heavily on Gavin Shockley, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of North Central's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 3-9 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Wyatt Gruber, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
North Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fairview, their record is now 12-2.
