The Fairview Apaches will head out on the road to take on the North Central Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fairview will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Shockley, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of North Central's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 3-9 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Wyatt Gruber, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
North Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fairview, their record is now 12-2.
North Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Fairview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317.
