Dashaun Mckoy Delivers Best Effort of Season
Harrells Christian Academy came up short on Friday despite Dashaun Mckoy delivering his best game to date. Mckoy rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making 11 total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Harrells Christian Academy moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Mckoy and Harrells Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m.

Ravenscroft Gets a Boost from Williams in 38-35 Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Brandon Williams stepped things up a notch to give Ravenscroft the 'W'. Williams turned in nothing short of a gem, making 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Ravenscroft's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. Williams and Ravenscroft will head out to face off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Bryan Copeland Makes It Two for Ravenscroft
Another Ravenscroft player making an appearance on this list is Bryan Copeland. He picked up 102 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played.
GRACE Christian's probably not too fond of Oehlke given he always seems to get the better of them. When Oehlke last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he rushed for 98 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes.
