The Anderson Christian Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Oconee Christian Academy 54-20. Anderson Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Oconee Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oconee Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carson Duncan, who scored 15 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Duncan has scored at least 25% of Oconee Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Frick, who scored 13 points.
Anderson Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oconee Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Anderson Christian will be playing at home against Our Lady of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oconee Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Temple Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Temple Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
