The Leeds Greenwave had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 66-51 victory over Lincoln. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Leeds also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2021.
Leeds' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Burge led the charge by scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Bedell, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
Leeds pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 19 points. As for Lincoln, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leeds is on the road again on Friday and play against Springville at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Springville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Comer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
