Despite the loss, Burwell still got an impressive performance from Karsyn Bower, who had 16 digs. Bower is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.
Riverside can attribute much of their success to Autumn Murphy, who had 15 digs.
Burwell's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Riverside, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Twin Loup the next time they take the court. Riverside will head out to face Twin Loup at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Burwell will play them later in the day, at TBD.
