The West Field Longhorns will face off against the Ridgeline Riverhawks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Ridgeline will be up against a hot West Field team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Longhorns' pitcher stepped up to hand Green Canyon a 15-0 shutout on Friday. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Brinklee Hadley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kam Bell was a standout: she scored three runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Brylee Leatherwood, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
West Field kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Ridgeline earned a 10-5 victory over Mountain Crest on Friday.
Ridgeline also got a great performance from Avery Lamont as she tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.
On the hitting side, Anne Wallace was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Ava Hess was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
West Field's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Ridgeline, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. West Field has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12.5 hits per game. However, it's not like Ridgeline struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.1 hits.
