The Pacific Grove Breakers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They breezed by King City on the road to the tune of 56-27. For Pacific Grove, this counts as revenge for the 63-39 loss King City walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Pacific Grove was led to victory by Benjamin Liddell and Gabriel Valencia. Liddell scored 10 points, while Valencia scored 16 points. The match was Valencia's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Nimri, who scored 6 points.
Pacific Grove's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for King City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacific Grove will take on Hilmar at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hilmar has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for King City, they will play host again and welcome Templeton, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
