The Clinton Dark Horses had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Lakewood 52-49. That's another feather in the cap for Clinton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Clinton's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gregory Coxum, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Nydarion Blackwell was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
