Covington won against Raleigh-Egypt  last Friday with 68  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Saturday. The Covington Chargers snuck past the Millington Central Trojans with  a  68-62 victory. The  win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won four  matches in a row.
 Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Tayshaun Dye, who  to rack up 17  points and six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andre Tyler, who  posted 13 points and three  steals.
Covington's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Millington Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.
 Covington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Millington Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  61-54  loss against Brighton on the 25th.
