Davis won the last time they faced Syracuse, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Davis Darts took their  game on the road  with ease, bagging  a  49-10 win over the Syracuse Titans. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Owen Talbot was another key player, rushing for 125 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
 Davis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Bode Sparrow,  Connor Brown,  and  Juni Moala picked up one apiece. Sparrow is also on a roll when it comes to  receiving touchdowns, as he's  now  hauled in two or more in the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Davis' victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Syracuse, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 5-5.
 Both  are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After each having a week off, Davis and Mountain Ridge will shake off the cobwebs and  face off against  one another  at 5:00  p.m.  on November 1st. Mountain Ridge will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Davis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Syracuse, they will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fremont at 4:00  p.m.  on November 1st. Fremont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.7  points per game  this season.
