Basketball Recap: Twin Rivers Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Twin Rivers won the last time they faced East Carter and things went their way on Saturday too. The Twin Rivers Royals walked away with a 60-52 win over the East Carter Redbirds. Given the Royals' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Redbirds are ranked 354th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Twin Rivers' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for East Carter, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Twin Rivers didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-40 win against Bloomfield on the 30th. As for East Carter, they will welcome Bunker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bunker will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something East Carter surely won't give up without a fight.
