Brother Rice extended the longest winning streak in Catholic Central this week by beating Catholic Central, 20-7. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Warriors.
De La Salle Collegiate took down Consortium College Prep 42-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Allen Stritzinger ran for 196 yards and caught 1 pass for 13 yards during the win.
Stritzinger was a passing and rushing force as the Pilots beat the Cougars. Stritzinger's favorite target this week was Pat Adams, who caught 2 passes for 56 yards.
Grant Perry was the best wideout in the league this week as Brother Rice defeated the Shamrocks. Perry racked up 5 receptions for 76 yards. Corey Lacanaria helped Brother Rice's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 74 yards.
Brother Rice's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Alex Malzone has thrown for 1,743 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Perry has 40 catches for 621 yards.
University of Detroit Jesuit and Seaholm played the closest game in the league this week, with University of Detroit Jesuit eventually emerging with a 20-17 victory.
