The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Chattanooga Prep considering their two-point performance the match before.
Leading Chattanooga Prep to victory were Ta'Suade Williams and Derrick Roberson. Williams scored 16 points, while Roberson scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Eli Gaines was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Chattanooga Prep pushed their record up to 11-5 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.64 points. As for Tyner Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Prep and Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Tyner Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bledsoe County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
