Maiden extended their winning streak to 20 on Friday, bumping them up to 22-1. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Newton-Conover Red Devils 59-23. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 27 points or more this season.
Khiara Culliver was her usual excellent self, going 9-for-10 on her way to 21 points and four steals. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Ava Anderson was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.
Maiden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.
