Academy of Central Florida National extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Samuel Ortega. Everything went Academy of Central Florida National's way against the Forest Lake Academy Panthers on Monday as Academy of Central Florida National made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Ortega, who had 22 digs and four aces. Those 22 digs gave him a new career-high.

While Academy of Central Florida National won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 27-25, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Forest Lake Academy still got an impressive performance from Ethan Hazen, who had 19 digs and one assist. Hazen has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times he's played. Erick Azevedo also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Academy of Central Florida National pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Forest Lake Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Academy of Central Florida National wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Celebration on the 26th. As for Forest Lake Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Lake Brantley on the 25th.
