Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight  loss. They were dealt  a  77-7 defeat at the hands of the Sandy Creek Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  76-4  back in December of 2024.
 Sandy Creek found their leader in freshman  Morghan Reckley, who  almost  dropped  a triple-double on 35 points, nine  boards,  and 15  steals. Reckley's afternoon made it 19 games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points.  Lauryn Ferguson was another key player,  going 5 of 9  on her way to 12  points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Sandy Creek,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 15-4.
 Whitewater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  66-20  defeat against Fayette County on the 28th. Sandy Creek has also  already played their next match,  a  62-48  win against Trinity Christian on the 28th.
