Kate Manor had a dynamite game, getting 18 digs and two aces. Those 18 digs gave her a new career-high. Sienna Richards was another key player, getting 21 digs and two assists.
Meanwhile, Shelbyville lost 3-0 to Franklin Community on Thursday.
Shelbyville took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-13.
Delta's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Shelbyville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
