The Heritage Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 53-17 loss at the hands of Fort Campbell. Heritage Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fort Campbell apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Rosella Rajj, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and five steals for Fort Campbell. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rajj has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Newingham, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Heritage Christian Academy's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.0 points per game. As for Fort Campbell, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.
Heritage Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Christian Fellowship at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Campbell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Northeast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Friday.
