Ella Lobdell was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals for Boquet Valley. Lobdell is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sophie Pulsifer, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Willsboro Central and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Boquet Valley, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willsboro Central will face off against Lake Placid at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Placid will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Boquet Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Bolton Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bolton Central's defense has only allowed 22.8 points per game this season, so Boquet Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them.
