Georgetown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ty Stanley , who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jari Ford, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Andrews has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Georgetown, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.
Andrews will take on East Ridge in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at. Georgetown will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Myrtle Beach at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
