The Andrews Yellowjackets lost against the Georgetown Bulldogs last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Andrews fell 55-43 to Georgetown. Andrews has not had much luck with Georgetown recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Georgetown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ty Stanley , who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jari Ford, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Andrews has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Georgetown, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.
Andrews will take on East Ridge in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at. Georgetown will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Myrtle Beach at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
