Queen's Grant came tearing into Saturday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Carolina International Comets with points to spare, taking the game 78-62. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 68-56 win two weeks ago.

Queen's Grant was led to victory by Mekhi Allen and Preston Scott. Allen to rack up 26 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Scott en route to 19 points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds. Scott is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ian Howard, who posted ten points and three steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Queen's Grant was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carolina International only eight assists.

When it comes to explaining why Carolina International lost, don't look at KJ Shouse Jr.. Despite the final result, he on his way to 23 points and five rebounds. Josiah Bridges was another key player, en route to 15 points.

Queen's Grant's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.3 points over those games. As for Carolina International, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.

Queen's Grant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-41 victory against Union Academy on the 25th. As for Carolina International, they have also already played their next game, a 68-43 win against Mount Airy on the 25th.
