Brandywine has gone a perfect 4-0 against Hartford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bobcats will look to defend their home field against the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Brandywine is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Bronson on Monday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Brandywine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Simmons, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Kaeden Warfield, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Cassopolis hit Hartford with a four-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Huskies came up short against the Rangers, falling 11-5.

Brandywine's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-10. As for Hartford, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Brandywine took their victory against Hartford when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
