Hill City is 9-1 against Oakley since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hill City Ringnecks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oakley Plainsmen at 7:30 p.m. Hill City will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hill City beat Smith Center 51-45.
It was another big night for Dylan Gansel, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Carson Keith was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Oakley strolled past Wheatland-Grinnell with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 54-38. That 16 points margin sets a new team best for Oakley this season.
Hill City's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Oakley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
