Minnechaug Regional put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They made easy work of West Springfield and carried off a 49-19 win. The win was familiar territory for Minnechaug Regional, who now have six in a row.
Minnechaug Regional added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0. West Springfield are on a five-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-5.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Minnechaug Regional take on Wahconah Regional at 7:00 PM. As for West Springfield, they will face off against Putnam Vo-Tech/Sci-Tech. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for West Springfield and four for Putnam Vo-Tech/Sci-Tech.
