The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost five in a row.
 Dawson Cook put in work while hitting and pitching. He  struck out eight batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   six  hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-5 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Cook wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Ian Ross, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Karns City's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Moniteau, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
