The Frost Polar Bears typically have all the answers at home, but on Saturday the Franklin Lions proved too difficult a challenge. Franklin took down Frost 46-30. That's another feather in the cap for Franklin, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Frost's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karlee Anderson, who scored 11 points. Breelyn Dyer was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 11 rebounds.
Franklin pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.33 points. As for Frost, their loss dropped their record down to 12-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will be home for the holidays to greet Elkhart at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Frost will take on Dawson at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dawson's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so Frost's offense will have their work cut out for Frost.
