Softball Recap: Bloomer Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Bloomer had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 9-6 to make it four. They came out on top against the Regis Ramblers by a score of 7-3. The win continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Ramblers: they've now won eight in a row.

As for Regis, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. They haven't had much luck with Bloomer recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

For Regis' part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Borton, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Maddy Payne also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bloomer is set to face off against their familiar foe Cadott at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Regis will take on rival Stanley-Boyd at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
