Baseball Recap: Shenandoah Wins Going Away Against Randolph Southern

Shenandoah won the last time they faced Randolph Southern and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders blew past the Rebels 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Kaden Randolph spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on two hits.

At the plate, Collin Osenbaugh was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 11 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Fredenburg, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Shenandoah was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Randolph Southern only posted a batting average of .111.

Shenandoah has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Randolph Southern, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Shenandoah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Blackford on the 2nd. Randolph Southern has also already played their next contest (against Tri-Village), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
