The Sickles Gryphons will face off against the Tampa Catholic Crusaders at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Sickles will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Tampa Catholic, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Bishop McLaughlin Catholic with a sharp  11-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Crusaders' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
 Lucas Cinnante looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in February.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Dominic Woodward, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Smythe, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Tampa Catholic's win was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Sickles, their record is now 9-3.
