Nathan Shepherd and Chase Prairie provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Onteora. The connection was good for 79 yards, the longest such play in Section 9 C-I this season.
Burke Catholic scaled the state rankings by moving to 123 from 156 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles were able to move up by defeating Liberty 46-12.
Malik Chambers was a passing and rushing force as O'Neill beat the Indians.
Matt Przybocki put up the best numbers in passing as Burke Catholic defeated the Indians. He finished with 3 completions for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns. Przybocki's favorite target this week was Tom Connolly, who caught 2 passes for 50 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Keegan West of the Raiders is the league leader in passing yards this season with 519. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Connolly. The Burke Catholic star has 15 catches for 177 yards.
Ed Van Curen's team added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Liberty, 46-12. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
