Machaon Puga Delivers Best Effort of Season
Prospect Ridge Academy was led to victory by Machaon Puga, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Puga picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 130 yards.incredibly, Puga got all that yardage with just one huge grab
On the season, Puga has averaged 87.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 2.43 rushing yards per game.

Dante Vigil and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Dante Vigil was instrumental in extending Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Flatirons Academy had no answer to Vigil as he made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Forge Christian pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Vigil and Forge Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Platte Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Carter Hogsett Has Career-Day on Saturday
Sadly, Carter Hogsett posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Platte Canyon over Prospect Ridge Academy on Saturday. Hogsett rushed for 234 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.
On the season, Hogsett has averaged 17.5 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 0.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 72.5 rushing yards.

Big Game from Strange As Forge Christian Won 42-0
Forge Christian picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Sullivan Strange. Nobody could stop Strange as he threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.
This year, Strange has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 163 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 22.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 49.71 rushing yards.

Forge Christian Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Euli Tafoya
Euli Tafoya's big game helped extend Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Tafoya was unstoppable, rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
