This season hasn't been kind to the Ridge Christian Academy Eagles, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They took a hard 62-44 fall against Hillsborough Baptist on Monday.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gabriel Torres, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Garrido, who scored 11 points.
Ridge Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hillsborough Baptist, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridge Christian Academy will face off against Winter Haven Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Winter Haven Christian is ranked 762nd, while Ridge Christian Academy is ranked 775th). As for Hillsborough Baptist, they will head out on the road to face off against Genesis Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
