Linden is 1-9 against Keith since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Linden Patriots will head out on the road to square off against the Keith Bears at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Linden can finally bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak thanks to their game last Thursday. They secured a 77-72 W over Johnson. Linden's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Keith waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past University Charter 72-40 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Keith has posted since December 15, 2023.
Keith relied on the efforts of Miles Hannah, who scored 16 points, and Tommy Tisdale III, who scored 21 points. Tisdale III hasn't dropped below 15points for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Titus Lanier, who scored nine points.
Linden's win ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-12. As for Keith, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Linden was dealt a bruising 74-29 defeat at the hands of Keith when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can Linden avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
