There's no place like home for the Bagdad Sultans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat North Phoenix Preparatory Academy 42-6 at home. That 36 points margin sets a new team best for Bagdad this season.
Bagdad's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Bagdad will be playing at home against Salome at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Salome: 23.4, Bagdad: 29.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Antelope at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Antelope comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
