Basketball Recap: Clay Skates Past East with Ease

Clay's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They breezed by the East Tartans to the tune of 51-19. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Clay's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10. As for East, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Clay Panthers take on the Glenwood Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
