Basketball Recap: J.F. Webb Skates Past American Leadership Academy-Johnston with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask J.F. Webb). They blew past the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots, posting a 63-16 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Patriots are ranked 350th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

J.F. Webb's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jasey Lee, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 steals. The dominant performance also gave Lee a new career-high in assists (eight). Another player making a difference was Tamia Willams, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.

J.F. Webb's victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

J.F. Webb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-39 defeat against St. Pauls on the 7th. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-9 loss against St. Thomas More Academy on the 9th.
