Bruceville-Eddy's loss came despite strong showings from Rylie Rodriguez and Kalli Speasmaker. Rodriguez scored 9 points along with 3 steals, while Speasmaker scored 8 points along with 4 steals. Rodriguez scored a full 32.1% of Bruceville-Eddy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kambrie Diaz was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 5 rebounds.
Bruceville-Eddy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for La Grange, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Bruceville-Eddy is on the road again on Friday and play against Victoria West at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for La Grange, they will square off against Industrial at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday.
