The Edna Karr Cougars were the 49-47 winner over the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Edna Karr took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Archbishop Chapelle on Monday. Edna Karr has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cass Antoine, who scored 12 points. Tori Walker was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Edna Karr's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Archbishop Chapelle, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Mt. Carmel the next time they take the court. Archbishop Chapelle will host Mt. Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Edna Karr will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
