Powell County fell victim to East Jessamine and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Jaguars. Powell County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Powell County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Jessamine, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-2.

Looking ahead, Powell County will take on Garrard County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Jessamine, they will challenge Tates Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
